Fun day trips and exciting excursions depart from the Extreme Adventures operations base to some of the Solomons most stunning locations. Cruise through the picturesque Florida Islands or trek to the summit of Savo Volcano. Spend the day relaxing on a tropical island, discover the old capital, Tulagi Island, rich with colonial and WWII history and experience world-class scuba diving and snorkelling. 

What makes our excursions so unique is our high speed 14 meter Naiad, SunXpress. With a cruising speed of 25 knots, the SunXpress is able to transport passengers safely ensuring less travel time and more time exploring the islands. 

Florida Seafari: A fun filled discovery tour of the nearby Florida Islands, situated 50 minutes from Honiara. On this day trip you will experience a picnic lunch on Mbike Island with opportunities to snorkel, scuba dive, kayak and join in a game of island style beach volleyball. After lunch we embark on a cruise through the islands to explore stunning locations you cannot find without a locals knowledge. We finish the day with a tour of Tulagi Island. 

With all equipment provided for snorkelling, a BBQ buffet lunch and light refreshments throughout the day, this is an experience you do not want to miss. 

Mbike Island Picnic: Take to the tropical waters of Mbike Island aboard the SunXpress. Enjoy a BBQ buffet lunch and light refreshments throughout the day. Dive and snorkel in the clear waters on a fringing coral reef, play beach volleyball by the sea or explore Mbikes surrounding waters in a sea kayak. 

Departure Point: All departures are from the Extreme Adventures operations base. The Florida Seafari and Mbike Island Picnic day trips operate on Saturdays and Sundays departing at 0800 and returning by 1800. Guests are welcome to park their vehicles in our car park.
