Our vessels, the Sun Xpress and the Cobra, are in full marine survey and carry a full compliment of safety and navigational equipment.
Diving
The Solomon Islands offers some of the most spectacular scuba diving to be experienced anywhere in the world. Extreme Adventures offers shore diving, boat diving, diving holidays and PADI Learn to Dive Courses.
Within 24 miles from the Extreme Adventure operations base lie the Florida Islands. In the Florida’s you’ll find pristine coral reefs, plummeting walls, drop offs, tunnels and some of the best World War II wreck diving in the Solomon Islands.
Also situated right at our doorstep is Iron Bottom Sound, an underwater resting ground to countless Japanese and American transport ships, seaplanes, destroyers and landing crafts, sunk in the battle of Savo, Tulagi and Guadalcanal during World War II.
Combined with spectacular variety of hard and soft corals, Iron Bottom Sound provides a unique habitat for rich and vibrant marine life.
The Extreme Adventures dive shop provides guiding, expertise and the use of everything you need to enjoy your dives. Our scuba and snorkel equipment is of top quality and maintained to the highest standards. The Extreme Adventures dive shop is open from 0800 to 1700 daily.
To ensure the best dive experience, dive sites are chosen according to daily tidal movements and prevailing weather conditions.
NB: Proof of certification is required for scuba divers. If you have lost your certification card we can run a PADI check for fee of SBD$20.00.
